Saint Hill Manor is a substantial brick house with proper grounds - the kind of place that makes you understand why someone wanted to live here centuries ago. It's currently the UK headquarters of the Church of Scientology, which means access is restricted unless you're joining a tour or have business there. The building itself dates back to the 18th century and retains period features, though the interior remains largely private to visitors.

Historically minded travellers might find the architecture worth a photo from the road, but this isn't a destination you'll spend hours at. If you're camping nearby - and Hook Farm Campsite is genuinely excellent value just 2.6 miles away - you could swing by for an exterior look and move on.
