Families with older children might appreciate the quiet; younger ones will find it a bit dull unless they're the type who like exploring old spaces.

There's no admission fee as far as I can tell, and you can usually access it during daylight hours, though it's worth checking locally as opening times aren't always advertised. The real value is combining it with a proper coastal walk - Praa Sands itself has decent beaches and the path east towards Rinsey offers cracking views.
