Robin's Hill

The walk up Robin's Hill from Otley rewards you with proper moorland views across Wharfedale, the sort of landscape that makes you understand why people move to Yorkshire and never leave. The walk is free, naturally, and there's no gate to pass through. Go when the weather's decent; this exposed moorland gets properly grim in heavy rain, and the views disappear entirely. Best visited as part of a broader Wharfedale walking circuit rather than as a destination unto itself.
