The promenade itself is flat and straightforward, perfect if you're staying at Golden Sands or Parkdean Resorts Ty Mawr nearby and fancy stretching your legs without a proper hike. Birdwatchers should bring binoculars - the reserve's real value is for spotting curlews, redshanks, and the occasional rarer visitor if you time it right.
