Raze the Roof, Family Entertainment Centre

The indoor play centre just outside Carnkie delivers exactly what it promises - a good few hours of chaos and entertainment for younger children. You're looking at the usual setup: soft play areas, arcade games, trampolines, and climbing frames spread across a decent-sized space. It's warm, dry, and frankly quite useful when the Cornish weather turns against you, which it will.

Kids aged four to twelve will genuinely enjoy themselves here. Parents, less so - it's one of those places where you'll find yourself nursing a coffee watching small humans bounce off things. The noise level is exactly what you'd expect, so don't come expecting peace.

One proper advantage: it's close to several good camping and glamping spots. Stay Wild and Tresyjo Glamping are both within a few miles, as is Lanyon Holiday Park further out. If you're basing yourselves at any of these for a Cornish break, Raze the Roof works as a solid backup plan for an afternoon when the beach feels too packed or the weather's turned properly grim.

Best suited to families with primary school age kids rather than toddlers or teenagers. Expect to spend two to three hours maximum before everyone's tired and ready for something else. Get there on a weekday morning if you can - weekends get rammed with birthday parties.
