About Ralegh Crescent park
Walkers and keen naturalists will get the most from it. The reserve itself isn't vast, so you're looking at an hour or so to do a decent circuit without rushing. Kids won't get bored if they're the type to hunt for butterflies or spot water birds, but if they need climbing frames and ice cream stands, take them elsewhere.
The ground can be boggy near the water features, especially after rain - proper boots matter. Bring a camera and maybe a field guide. There's no visitor centre or facilities that I'm aware of, so plan accordingly.
If you're based at Wysdom Touring Park or Burford Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite - both excellent spots, mind - Ralegh Crescent is a genuinely worthwhile detour. It's close enough for a morning or afternoon outing without eating into your day, and it does what nature reserves should do: let you see real Oxfordshire wildlife in a proper habitat rather than something sanitised for tourists. Worth the drive from your site.
