Ragleth Hill

Standing at 1,302 feet, this rounded hill offers some of the finest views across the Shropshire Hills without the crowds that flock to the Long Mynd. The climb from Church Stretton is steady rather than brutal - about 45 minutes of proper walking through bracken and gorse to reach the summit cairn.

Up top, the panorama takes in the Wrekin to the north, the Welsh borders to the west, and on clear days you can spot the Malvern Hills shimmering in the distance. It's particularly lovely in late summer when the heather blooms purple across the slopes.
