The appeal is straightforward: they stock reclaimed and reproduction period interiors - fireplaces, doors, architectural salvage, that sort of thing. History types and anyone doing up an older property will find it absorbing. You're not talking about a major destination here, but it's the kind of stop that justifies an afternoon in Lynton proper, especially if you're staying at nearby Lynmouth Holiday Retreat just down the hill.

Lynton itself is worth the trip regardless. The cliff railway down to Lynmouth is worth the quid, and the coastal walks around here are genuinely excellent - nothing too taxing, but proper views. Post House Interiors works best as part of that picture rather than as a standalone destination.

Allow an hour or so if you're having a proper look. Best for adults with a genuine interest in period property restoration rather than families with restless kids. The North Devon coastline around here is where the real draw is, but if you're pottering around Lynton on a quiet morning, this is worth ducking into.
