Poplar Bed

Twenty minutes to an hour is realistic depending on how you approach it. Kids under ten might find it bit thin on features - there's trees, some ground cover, not much else - but older children and proper walkers will appreciate it as a break from the open fields that dominate this part of Worcestershire.

The location matters. You're roughly equidistant from Cheltenham and Tewkesbury, so it slots into a broader walking route if you're planning a few days in the area. Bring decent shoes if it's been wet - poplar groves tend to hold moisture. There's no obvious visitor infrastructure here, so turn up when you fancy rather than trying to time it around opening hours. Free access appears standard for woodland like this, though nothing's confirmed. It's genuine Worcestershire rather than show-stopper, which is precisely why it's worth knowing about.
