Plumpton Village Sign

The village sign at Plumpton is one of those things you spot while walking through Sussex and think, 'Actually, that's rather good.' The real value is as a pause point on a wider explore of the South Downs around Hassocks. Combine it with walking the countryside nearby, and you've got something worthwhile. Solo, it's a bit thin. But as part of a day rambling through Sussex villages, it fits nicely.
