A converted stone building in Dunkeld houses this small but thoughtful poetry gallery, where contemporary work shares space with the landscape that inspired it. Pith sits at the intersection of visual art and verse - you'll find installations, readings, and a carefully curated collection that takes about an hour to properly explore. The whole point is slowness, really. You're meant to linger with individual pieces rather than tick boxes.

It's genuinely best suited to adults who actually read poetry or have interest in modern visual art. Teenagers might find it intriguing if they're already into that sort of thing; younger kids will fidget. The space itself is lovely - proper use of natural light, good proportions - which matters when you're standing in front of work that demands attention.

The Corbenic Poetry Path project connects the gallery to outdoor installations through the wider region, so if you're staying at Inver Mill Farm Caravan Park or Erigmore Holiday Park nearby, you could easily make this a half-day cultural interlude between more active park pursuits. It's the sort of place that either speaks to you immediately or doesn't at all - worth 20 minutes to find out which camp you fall into.
