Park Hall Lake

The water at Park Hall Lake sits perfectly still most mornings, reflecting the sky like a sheet of dark glass. It's a proper working nature reserve on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent, the kind of place where you'll actually see things if you're patient - kingfishers, great crested grebes, the lot.
