North Hill Plantation

The woodland at North Hill stretches across East Yorkshire with the kind of quiet that makes you realise how little of it you actually get at home. It's proper forest - mixed broadleaf and conifer, the sort of place where the ground stays soft underfoot even when it hasn't rained, and the canopy does serious work filtering the light into greens and greys.
