Mustoe's Plantation

Walking through Mustoe's Plantation feels like stepping into someone's private woodland corner - because essentially, you are. This forest near Fairford is proper woodland, the sort where you'll hear more birdsong than footsteps and the canopy does a decent job of blocking out the outside world. It's dense enough to feel like an actual escape without being a maze you'll get lost in.

The paths are manageable for families with older kids and anyone after a straightforward woodland wander.
