Model Boat Lake

The lake at Bridlington's Model Boat Lake is essentially what it says on the tin - a proper spot where enthusiasts gather to sail their radio-controlled vessels across the water. It's a modest affair, nothing grand, but there's something genuinely engaging about watching a tiny yacht tack across the surface while its owner concentrates hard on the remote control.

This is squarely for model boat enthusiasts and their families. Kids who like boats and mechanical things will find it decent entertainment for an hour or so, though younger children might lose interest once the novelty wears off. If you're staying at Mr Moo's Touring Site nearby, it's close enough for a morning visit without much fuss.
