Eighteen holes of windmill-dodging, loop-the-loop putting madness await just outside Newquay. This isn't your average crazy golf course - expect proper obstacles, water features that actually work, and holes that'll have the kids shrieking with delight when they nail that tricky bank shot.

Families staying at nearby Crantock Beach or Hendra Holiday Park will find this a brilliant rainy day backup. The course keeps younger children engaged for a good hour, though teenagers might roll their eyes at the pirate ship hole. Adults who take it seriously (and there's always one) can get surprisingly competitive over the final scorecard.

Location-wise, it's perfectly placed for a quick diversion between beach sessions or before heading into Newquay town centre. The course feels well-maintained compared to some of Cornwall's more tatty offerings, though don't expect anything too elaborate.

Best tackled with children aged 4-12 who still get genuinely excited about sinking a putt through a dinosaur's mouth. Older kids might prefer the amusements in Newquay proper, but for that sweet spot age group, it's a winner. Allow an hour for a relaxed round, longer if you've got perfectionists in tow.
