If you're staying at Aberfeldy Caravan Park or Pitilie Pods nearby, it's an easy detour. Go when the weather's decent - muddy ground and broken stonework don't make for great photographs in the rain. Free to visit, as these archaeological sites usually are, though there's little in the way of formal facilities. Best treated as a short stop rather than a destination in itself.
