The walk up Meall nan Sac from Pitlochry is a proper hill scramble rather than a gentle stroll, and honestly, that's what makes it worth doing. You're looking at roughly 2,500 feet of ascent through mixed woodland that opens out into proper high moorland, with views across the Tummel Valley that stretch for miles on a clear day.

The peak itself isn't dramatic - it's a working hill rather than a showstopper - but the approach is solid.
