Mary Knoll

Mary Knoll rises sharp and sudden from the Herefordshire landscape just outside Ludlow - one of those hills that catches you by surprise when you round a corner. There's no visitor infrastructure up there - no cafe, no benches, no interpretive boards - so take what you need and come prepared for Herefordshire weather. Free to access, naturally, and you can do it any time that suits you. If you're based at one of the nearby parks like Monstay Farm or Ludlow Touring, this works as a half-day excursion that breaks up a longer holiday nicely. Pair it with Ludlow town itself - the castle, the food scene - and you've got a proper day sorted.
