Marine Lake

Marine Lake sits right on Southport's doorstep, a proper focal point if you're staying in the area. It's a large freshwater lake that draws walkers, cyclists, and families after an afternoon out. Kids can manage the walk without complaint, though they might lose interest if they're after something more active. Go when the weather's settled rather than on grey, blustery days - that's when the appeal really drops off.
