Margaret's Camp is essentially a series of raised banks and ditches that once formed a substantial hill fort, but time and farming have softened its edges considerably. You'll need a good eye and some imagination to make sense of what you're looking at.

The site works best for proper archaeology enthusiasts or anyone fascinated by ancient Britain. Kids might struggle unless they're already into history - there's not much here that screams 'ancient fortress' to young eyes. Walking the perimeter takes maybe thirty minutes if you're being thorough.
