Madley Parish Church

The church sits quietly in the village of Madley, about five miles west of Hereford, and it's one of those places that rewards a small detour if you're staying at one of the nearby campsites like Preston or Poston Mill. The building itself is medieval - proper old, with a sturdy stone tower that's been watching over the landscape for centuries. Inside, you'll find the usual church fixtures: carved wooden details, stone floors worn smooth by centuries of footsteps, and that particular smell of old wood and hymn books that never quite leaves Anglican churches.
