Lugg Meadow

The Lugg Meadow is a proper riverside nature reserve just outside Hereford, where the River Lugg winds through flower-rich grassland that changes entirely with the seasons. In spring the place is loud with birdsong and dotted with wildflowers. Come summer and you'll spot dragonflies dancing over the water; autumn brings migrant warblers and the meadow turns golden.
