Longstone Barrow

A Bronze Age burial mound rises from the moorland east of Lynton, commanding views across Exmoor's rolling hills. Longstone Barrow sits alone in open country, and there's something properly atmospheric about standing beside a structure that's been here for nearly 4,000 years. The mound itself is modest in height but substantial enough to feel significant, and the stone cist at its centre has held human remains since the Bronze Age.
