This long barrow near Wareham is the real deal - an ancient communal tomb where people were laid to rest during the Stone Age, its elongated shape deliberately built to house multiple burials over centuries.

What you actually see is a substantial earthwork, often with visible stone edges if you look closely. There's something properly humbling about walking around something this old, even if it's just a grassy bump in the Dorset landscape.
