The mosaic itself is a sprawling public artwork created by locals, the sort of thing that could easily feel twee but actually carries genuine craft and character.

It's housed in the village, free to wander past and view, and works best as a proper walk rather than a rushed stop. The detail is remarkable when you get close - thousands of tiles arranged into patterns that reflect the area's history and community spirit. Bring a camera if you're that way inclined. Not a destination in itself, mind you, but absolutely worth thirty minutes if you're passing through the area.
