Killocraw Hillfort

You'll need a decent pair of boots and a willingness to scramble up rough ground to reach this Iron Age fort near Tarbert. Killocraw Hillfort sits on high ground overlooking the Kintyre Peninsula, and the walk itself is half the appeal - once you've made the effort, the views across to the islands make it feel genuinely remote.
