Honeywood Rough

The footpaths through Honeywood Rough offer proper woodland walking without any fuss or crowds. It's the kind of place where you'll actually hear birds rather than other visitors' phone calls, which is refreshing if you've just come from a busier Kent attraction.

The rough itself is dense woodland - old-growth forest with plenty of shade and soft ground underfoot.
