What makes it worth a visit during a park holiday is the location - close enough to Pightle Farm Campsite (3.5 miles) and Shepreth Mill (3.9 miles) that you can fit it in without faffing about with long drives. Covering distances on foot is manageable, though the hangars themselves involve plenty of walking. Check ahead about opening hours and admission costs, as these can be seasonal. If you're stopping in Royston anyway, it's worth the detour.
