Hilditch Plantation

Hilditch Plantation is a proper woodland walk just outside Shrewsbury - the kind of place that doesn't announce itself loudly but rewards anyone who bothers to find it. The forest runs through mixed woodland with a decent network of paths that work well for families after a couple of hours or serious walkers after half a day.
