Hatton Country World sits just outside Warwick and feels like the sort of place where families blow a couple of hours without realizing it. It's part farm park, part shopping village, with enough going on to keep kids entertained while adults browse the farm shop or grab a coffee. You'll find animals to meet - the usual suspects like sheep, goats, pigs - plus a bit of hands-on stuff if the owners are running activities that day. There's a reasonable gift shop and a surprisingly decent farm shop if you're stocking up for the caravan.

The whole setup works best for families with younger children, say under ten. Older kids might find it a touch tame, especially if they're been dragged round half the attractions in Warwickshire already. It's free to wander round and look at the animals, though specific activities cost extra - check ahead as opening times and what's on vary seasonally.

If you're based at one of the nearby parks - Mousley House Farm is barely two miles away, or Knight's Village at Warwick Castle if you fancy staying right by the big draw - Hatton makes a sensible half-day stop between bigger attractions. It's the sort of place you'd pop into on the way to or from Warwick town centre rather than plan your whole morning around. Realistic? Yes. Unmissable? Not quite. But if the weather turns and you need to kill an hour indoors or let the kids run about a bit, it does the job well enough.
