The facility caters mainly to people with genuine sporting intent rather than casual visitors, so it's worth calling ahead to check membership requirements and booking court time. The real draw for families would be if junior needs an outlet for energy mid-week, or if you're the sort who actually travels with rackets. Wokingham itself is a pleasant market town about three miles away, with decent shops and pubs if you want to make an afternoon of it. But treating this as a standalone holiday destination would be a mistake.

If you're based at one of the nearby parks and the weather turns grim, it's a solid backup plan - but it's not somewhere to drag reluctant kids or anyone looking for anything remotely exotic.
