This works best if you're already in Ilfracombe - perhaps staying at Stowford Farm Meadows Holiday Park just outside town - and you fancy a quiet break from the seafront attractions. It's not a 'plan your whole afternoon around it' sort of place. Twenty minutes is realistic, maybe thirty if you're into church architecture. Go on a weekday morning when it's properly quiet and you might have the place to yourself.
