You get a tour round the premises, see the tanks and equipment, and then sample what they've made. Their ales are solid, nothing fancy, but that's rather the point. Most visitors allow an hour, maybe ninety minutes if you're the chatty type or want to linger over a pint in their small bar area.

It works best for beer enthusiasts and adults after an afternoon away from the usual seaside routine. Kids won't find much to hold their attention unless they're already interested in how things are made. Summer weekends tend to be busier - worth checking ahead for group visits as they may need notice.

If you're staying at Little Otchan Glamping just down the road, this beats a trek to Hull proper. Close enough for an easy detour on the way back from Withernsea Sands or Sand le Mere. The coast is minutes away, so you could do brewery, lunch, then beach without it feeling rushed.
