Great Budworth's dog park is a straightforward affair - a fenced-off space near the village where dogs can run about without a lead. It's not fancy, and it doesn't pretend to be. If you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks like Pickmere Leisure Park (just a mile away) or Belmont Hall Camping, it's genuinely useful for burning off some energy before you head elsewhere.

The village of Great Budworth itself is the real draw, to be honest. It's a proper Cheshire spot with a church and some decent pubs within walking distance of the park. Knutsford's only a few miles south if you want shops and proper facilities.

As a standalone attraction, the dog park won't hold your attention for long - half an hour maximum if you've got a particularly social pooch. But if you're caravanning in the area with a dog that needs regular exercise, it does the job. The space feels unremarkable rather than rubbish, which means it won't frustrate you, just won't excite you either. Head here mid-morning if you want peace; it fills up when other campers wake up. Free to use, obviously, being what it is.

Pair it with a walk around the village and a pint at the White Hart afterward, and you've got a decent morning sorted. Not worth driving to from outside the area, but proper handy if you're staying locally.
