The garden works best for anyone interested in community projects, local food, or simply taking a break from the more formal attractions that dominate the coast. Walkers passing through town might appreciate the spot as a quiet breather. Kids won't be bored if they're already interested in growing things, but if you're here with restless teenagers expecting a major attraction, this isn't it. There's no charge to visit, though donations support the upkeep. Allow half an hour, maybe longer if you're chatty. Best visited during growing months when there's actually something to see and someone around. If you're camping at Fishguard Holiday Park or Tregroes Caravan Camping just over the way, it's practically on your doorstep and worth a morning stroll before heading to Pembrokeshire's proper nature reserves or the coast. It's the real Fishguard, not the polished version.
