The ground itself is fairly modest - this isn't Hampden Park - but there's something genuinely welcoming about Scottish football at this level. The atmosphere on match days is proper local, with supporters who actually know the players' names and care about the result.

Unless you're a committed football fan or have kids keen on the sport, you won't find much to do here on a non-match day. It's a working stadium, not a tourist attraction with a gift shop and stadium tours. The real appeal is the experience itself: grabbing a pie from the concourse, hearing the roar go up when Ross County scores, and getting a sense of how Highlanders spend their Saturday afternoons.

If you're based at Dingwall Camping and Caravanning Club Site - it's practically on the doorstep, less than a tenth of a mile away - checking the fixture list before you book makes sense. Match days run August through May, so timing your holiday around a home game could be a laugh. Highland Heights Luxury Glamping and Blackrock Caravan Park are close enough too if the football happens to be on. Otherwise, the Highlands offer far better ways to spend your time.
