FragaRock

FragaRock is an aquarium tucked away near Swindon, and it's the sort of place that surprises you - mostly because you wouldn't expect to find one in landlocked Wiltshire. The tanks showcase freshwater fish, which might sound modest on paper but actually makes for a proper engaging visit if you've got the time.

You'll walk through displays of everything from common carp to more unusual species, and it's genuinely well-maintained. The lighting in the tanks is decent enough that you can actually see the fish rather than squinting at glass reflections - a rarer win than you'd think. Kids under eight tend to be absolutely captivated; older ones get restless after about an hour, if I'm honest.

It's not the scale of your big coastal aquariums, so manage expectations accordingly. This is the kind of stop that works brilliantly if you're based at Second Chance Touring & Residential Park or Park Farm Campsite and need a couple of hours of indoor entertainment when the weather turns.
