Families staying at nearby sites like Knotlow Farm or Longnor Wood Holiday Park will find this works well as an easy morning trip. The path around the water is fairly level, making it manageable for pushchairs and older grandparents who fancy a gentle stroll. Wild swimmers might be tempted but the water quality is anyone's guess.
