Endcliffe Wheel Marker Post

The walk takes a couple of hours round trip depending on fitness and pace. Go on a clear day when visibility is decent - you'll want to see across the moors to make the effort feel worthwhile. Rain renders it properly miserable, and there's no shelter whatsoever. Admission is free, naturally, since it's just a stone post in the middle of open moorland.

If you're based at Wyming Brook or East Peak for a week, this works as part of a larger walking loop rather than a standalone destination. Combine it with the wider moorland trails and you've got a proper morning out. On its own? It's a bit thin.
