It's a straightforward stop: you'll find the stones themselves, read whatever interpretation boards are up, and contemplate whether you've just seen something genuinely ancient or a Victorian invention. The walk here is pleasant enough through Welsh farmland, though don't expect signposting that does the heavy lifting for you.

Historians and Bronze Age enthusiasts will find this worthwhile. Families with restless kids should manage a twenty-minute visit without complaint, though the appeal dies quickly once the photos are done. On a grey afternoon it feels appropriately atmospheric; on a rainy Tuesday it's just three rocks in a field.

If you're based at one of the nearby holiday parks - Golden Sands is closest at 2.5 miles, or Parkdean's Ty Mawr at 3.6 miles - you could easily combine this with a walk through the surrounding countryside without making it a major expedition. It's not worth travelling hours for, but if you're already in the Rhyl area spending a fortnight in a caravan, it fills an hour sensibly enough. Free to visit, no facilities on-site, and best managed in decent weather when the views open up.
