Dundrum Coastal Path

The walk itself starts just outside Newcastle and traces the coastline south toward Dundrum, offering proper views across the Irish Sea without the crowds you'd fight in more touristy spots. If you're based at one of the nearby parks - Tollymore Campsite and Camping Tollymore Forest Park are both within walking distance - this makes a solid morning before heading inland to explore the forest trails proper. Windsor Holiday Park and Edgewater sit a bit closer to Newcastle itself, making them handier for accessing the town's fish and chips spots or grabbing supplies. The path joins up nicely with other routes around the area, so you can extend it if the legs are feeling fresh. Bit of wind most days, so dress accordingly.
