About Dinger Tor
The walk up Dinger Tor is properly steep, but the summit rewards you with some of the finest views across Dartmoor. It's a granite outcrop that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not - just a good honest climb with decent vistas at the top, near Okehampton.
You're looking at maybe forty minutes up from the car park if you're steady-paced, less if you're fit. The path's well-trodden but can be boggy lower down, especially after rain.
