Delabole Playing Field

It's not going to keep anyone entertained for hours - maybe forty minutes of poking about and taking photos - but it's worth a detour if you're heading through the area, particularly if you've got an interest in industrial history.

The Rosebud Farm Touring Park just down the road makes this a sensible stop-off on a longer park holiday in mid-Cornwall. You won't need more than a brief visit here, but combine it with a walk around Bodmin Moor or a visit to Bodmin town itself and you've got a decent half-day sorted. Families with older kids who can appreciate the geological side of things will get more from it than those with toddlers in tow.
