The work tends toward the conceptual and sometimes the downright odd, so it won't appeal if you're after accessible, feel-good art. But if you like your galleries challenging and you're happy to think about what you're looking at, it's absolutely worth the detour.

If you're staying at Lady Heyes Holiday Park or Cheshire Glamping at Lady Heyes - both about five miles away - it pairs well with a proper walk around Frodsham itself. The town has a decent high street and the views from Frodsham Hill are genuinely good. Belmont Hall Camping is slightly further out but puts you in the same region. None of the parks are more than a short drive away, making this a natural addition to a creative, slightly unconventional break.
