Càrn Loch nan Eun

The walk up Càrn Loch nan Eun rewards you with proper Highland views that justify the leg work. It's a decent peak sitting above Kyle, and the climb itself is straightforward enough without being a doddle - takes most people a couple of hours up and back depending on fitness.

You get panoramic sightlines across the loch and into the surrounding mountains once you're on top. The name itself means "cairn of the loch of the birds", which is apt enough when you're up there spotting golden eagles if you're lucky.
