Càrn an t-Sagairt Beag

The walk up Càrn an t-Sagairt Beag from Ballater is straightforward enough, but don't expect a casual stroll. This modest peak sits at around 2,500 feet, making it one of those Scottish hills that feels bigger once you're on it than the map suggests. The ascent takes roughly two hours from the car park, winding through heather and moorland with views that open up gradually rather than all at once.
