Cottenham Recreation Ground (King George V Playing Field)

The King George V Playing Field sits on the eastern edge of Cottenham, just a few miles from Cambridge, and it's one of those quietly important green spaces that locals know about but visitors often miss. It functions as a nature reserve - grassland and wetland habitat that's genuinely worth a wander if you're staying at any of the nearby campsites like Fen End Farm or Hempsall Farm.
