Coastal Centre Exhibition

The Coastal Centre sits near Glenrothes and does exactly what it says on the tin - explains how the Fife coastline works, what lives in it, and why it matters. It's a proper working museum rather than a fancy visitor attraction, which means the exhibits feel genuine and the staff actually know their stuff.

Inside you'll find tanks with local marine life, displays on coastal erosion and geology, and information panels that go into real detail about the food chain and habitat management. Kids will spend a good hour here, especially if they're into rock pooling or spotting creatures. Adults interested in marine conservation or local environmental issues will find it genuinely engaging. Photography types might appreciate the tank lighting and specimen displays.
