About Clark's Hill

Standing at 174 metres, this modest rise offers surprisingly good views across the Vale of Evesham without the crowds you'll find on nearby Bredon Hill. The summit sits just south of Pershore and makes for a pleasant morning walk if you're staying at one of the local holiday parks.

Walkers will appreciate the gentle climb through mixed woodland and open fields - nothing too strenuous, though proper walking boots are wise after wet weather. The circular route from the village takes about an hour and a half at a steady pace. Families with older children will manage it fine, though toddlers might struggle with some of the stiles.

From the top, you get proper panoramic views stretching from the Malvern Hills to the Cotswolds on a clear day. It's not spectacular by Lake District standards, but for Worcestershire it's rather lovely. The best approach is from the north, where a well-marked footpath leads up through working farmland.

If you're based at Bredon View Holiday Park or Plum Tree Glamping, it makes an excellent morning excursion before exploring Pershore's abbey and market square. The Springs Holiday Park is also well-positioned for a visit. Pack a thermos - the summit can be breezy even on warm days, and there's nowhere to shelter once you're up there.
